Virginia Stouffer
Therapist & Coach
Hello, I'm Virginia Stouffer. I am a therapist, coach, and advocate, and a former school counselor. I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults.
I have successfully supported adults, children, and teens who are struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer/relationship conflict, traumatic experiences, and grief and loss. I believe in providing support to work towards the goals my clients set by using a client centered and mindfulness approach, meaning I meet them where they are at and utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
My work with my clients encompasses supporting them through life's stressors. I am dedicated to providing a safe space to navigate and work through the emotions that surface as a result of their experiences and provide tangible life skills to positively cope and heal. I believe in being honest and transparent with my clients during the therapeutic process. Additionally, I utilize Mindfulness for all ages and play and art therapy techniques for children and teens.
I am also incredibly passionate about working with moms. I am a mom of 3 small humans, two of which are twins. I affectionately refer to them as my circus because it's a wild ride and the hardest work I'll ever do is to raise them. I recognize the demands and stressors that parents, especially moms, have. To be clear, I am not discounting the work provided and strain that fathers undergo. To my moms out there, I recognize that there are particular stressors that often leave mothers feeling invisible and undervalued. I work with my clients to build balance, validation, and strategies to calm the overwhelm in their lives.
My years of experience as a school counselor have uniquely provided me with the skillset to support children and teens who are struggling, and to help families connect and support their kids. Children and teens require age appropriate interventions and structures to help them grow and heal. In addition to the therapeutic help I have provided, I am able to assist them and their families with navigating school-related concerns and more. Please view our Advocacy and Support page on our website for more information about school related advocacy, parent coaching, and support I provide.
I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!

Hello and welcome to our tribe!
I didn’t become a therapist because I had it all figured out. I became one because I wanted to be better partner to my husband and a better parent to my step-children. After 15 years in real estate, I made one of the scariest and most courageous decisions of my life, I went back to school at 39 years old. What I found there changed everything, not just the science of healing but my authentic self. The person I was meant to be, the way I was meant to show up in the world and help others.
I didn’t just learn the framework, I lived it. I integrated them into every corner of my life, my relationships, my parenting, my body and mind. A few years later, I got divorced and eventually found myself back in the dating world, navigating all the vulnerability, confusion and hope that comes with it.
It took everything I had learned, healed, every tool and then some but after 6 months, I found a partner who truly sees me, one who aligns and supports my most authentic self. That journey taught me even more about myself, and people don’t believe me when I tell them I enjoyed the process and found my own empowerment through it.
Now I watch friends and clients move through the same cycles, without the therapist training, stuck in patterns they can’t name, longing for connection within their relationships, their lives, or and in dating and longing for the connection and safety they can’t quite reach. I understand it because I’ve been there.
My practice grows from my own healing, in mind, body and spirit. I believe that safe connection is the foundation of all healing and that we love with our entire being. Which means, it’s our entire being that needs love to heal.
My passion is helping people fall in love with themselves, mend whats been broken in their relationships and find the courage to open their hearts again. You don’t need to have it all together to begin, you just need to be willing to come back to yourself.
When you trust yourself, everything changes! We are so glad you are here!
