Virginia Stouffer

Therapist & Coach

Hello, I'm Virginia Stouffer. I am a therapist, coach, and advocate, and a former school counselor. I am passionate about working with children, teens, and adults.

I have successfully supported adults, children, and teens who are struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, peer/relationship conflict, traumatic experiences, and grief and loss. I believe in providing support to work towards the goals my clients set by using a client centered and mindfulness approach, meaning I meet them where they are at and utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

My work with my clients encompasses supporting them through life's stressors. I am dedicated to providing a safe space to navigate and work through the emotions that surface as a result of their experiences and provide tangible life skills to positively cope and heal. I believe in being honest and transparent with my clients during the therapeutic process. Additionally, I utilize Mindfulness for all ages and play and art therapy techniques for children and teens.

I am also incredibly passionate about working with moms. I am a mom of 3 small humans, two of which are twins. I affectionately refer to them as my circus because it's a wild ride and the hardest work I'll ever do is to raise them. I recognize the demands and stressors that parents, especially moms, have. To be clear, I am not discounting the work provided and strain that fathers undergo. To my moms out there, I recognize that there are particular stressors that often leave mothers feeling invisible and undervalued. I work with my clients to build balance, validation, and strategies to calm the overwhelm in their lives.

My years of experience as a school counselor have uniquely provided me with the skillset to support children and teens who are struggling, and to help families connect and support their kids. Children and teens require age appropriate interventions and structures to help them grow and heal. In addition to the therapeutic help I have provided, I am able to assist them and their families with navigating school-related concerns and more. Please view our Advocacy and Support page on our website for more information about school related advocacy, parent coaching, and support I provide.

I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals!

Hello and welcome to our tribe!

My name means healer, though it took me a whole life to grow into it.

After college, I spent 17 years in real estate. Along the way, I married a man with two children from his previous marriage, and stepping into a blended family taught me more about the nervous system, cause and effect, and my own healing than I ever expected. I went into therapy, found mindfulness and holistic practices, and at almost 40, took a leap of faith back to school for my Master's in Counseling.

I became a therapist at 42, and two years later, got divorced and started over: new town, new career, newly single. When I re-entered the dating world, I heard the same story again and again from women who couldn't trust, couldn't relax, and were protecting themselves right out of the connection they wanted most. I realized it shouldn't take a master's degree to understand your own nervous system and have the connection you want and DESERVE!

That realization became my mission. I've since trained deeply in couples work, neurodivergent relationships, and supporting polyamorous and ENM partners, because everyone deserves a therapist who truly sees them, without judgment. Across every relationship I work with, I've found the same truth: your body already knows how you really feel. My work is helping you translate it, trust it, and build the connection you actually want.

We're in a loneliness epidemic, and I believe healing happens in community. That's why I offer workshops, budget-friendly on-demand courses, and pricing designed so cost is never what keeps you from joining the tribe. Only readiness is necessary.
